We’re bringing Seattle’s jazz scene to Mason County for one magical night supporting early childhood education!
Direct from Jazz Alley, it’s a cool evening of Hot Club Jazz at the Salmon Center on the Hood Canal to support Great Bend’s groundbreaking early childhood music program, Sound Scholars™.
Your ticket to this special (21-and-older) fundraiser includes not only admission to see world-renowned Hot Club Jazz band Pearl Django, but also a beautiful catered meal by rock star local chef Xinh Dwelley and a drink ticket, along with surprise special gifts from Great Bend and our sponsors Mason Health and Sierra Pacific Industries.
Held at the barn in Belfair’s Salmon Center, this magical evening will feature microbrews from Potlatch Brewing and High Steel Beer and custom cocktails from Hardware Distillery, with a number of fun opportunities to support our groundbreaking work building strong families, a strong economy and improving health and wellness in our community and beyond.

About Pearl Django and Hot Club Jazz:
Think about the concept of “French romance” and images of 1920s Paris likely spring to mind: charming streets filled with cafés and pastry shops with the sound of a lone accordion playing a lilting melody in the background.
Now spice that accordion up just a bit by adding a violin, soft electric guitar, a string bass and some swinging rhythms, and you have something that’s not only the perfect soundtrack for everything from a gathering of friends to a first date; but something you can dance to as well.
That’s Hot Club Jazz: it raises the temperature and boosts the flavor of an evening without changing the mood or ever getting carried away. It’s the very essence of smart, sexy and sophisticated, and we’re really lucky to have the best Hot Club group in the country right here in the Pacific Northwest.
A regular headliner at Dimitrios’ Jazz Alley, Pearl Django has performed at festivals, dances and nightspots around the world (including the prestigious Festival Django Reinhardt in Samois sur Seine) and have even been featured on NPR’s “All Things Considered.”
And this month, they’re coming to Mason County.
