About HighKey Kids™
Great Bend Center for Music’s HighKey Kids™ online classes provide the tools and learning activities that help kids identify their innate musical strengths and explore their individual musical and audio production interests.
Combining work in music literacy, ear training, keyboarding, MIDI, and digital music production with a strong focus on general musicianship, classes are offered in topics ranging from “Music for Video Games” to “Digital Audio Production,” piano/keyboarding to songwriting.
Students work both independently and collaboratively while using the latest digital tools and apps to guide their practice. Lessons and activities are designed to accommodate students at different levels in their musical development.
HighKey Kids™ prepares kids for a lifetime of music opportunities in a supportive and fun environment.
Musical exploration with a lasting impact
HighKey Kids™ classes cover more traditional instruments like the piano or ukulele alongside classes for students interested in learning about producing a podcast or designing music for video games. Small, supportive classrooms nurture every student’s curiosity and passion about a topic to set students up to succeed not only in high school music classes but throughout their lifetime.
