The part time IT and Production Coordinator will provide technical support to staff, students, and families, managing IT infrastructure, and handling seasonal production tasks such as video and audio editing and synchronization.

The Great Bend Center for Music is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that explores the many ways that music can be used as a community development tool. More at greatbendmusic.org. 

POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Manager/Development Coordinator will play a key role in the growth and success of our start-up non-profit organization that focuses on using music as a tool for community development. As the organization continues to expand, we are seeking an experienced and passionate individual who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization, including bookkeeping, organizational, and IT functions.

Development coordinator duties will include preparing reports, engaging with donors, tracking contributions, preparing and managing mailings, assisting with event planning, supporting volunteers, ensuring timely acknowledgment of contributions, tracking revenue and expenditures, drafting outreach strategies,and  assisting with social media activities and updates. 

 

POSITION SUMMARY

The IT and Production Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting this educational arts organization’s virtual operations, including providing technical support to staff, students, and families, managing IT infrastructure, and handling seasonal production tasks such as video and audio editing and synchronization. This is a part-time position that offers a great opportunity for a tech-savvy individual with a passion for the arts to make a meaningful contribution to our organization.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical support to staff, students, and families, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up and maintaining virtual classrooms, and assisting with online registration and payment systems.
  • Manage the organization’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and cloud-based storage systems.
  • Collaborate with the artistic and administrative staff to create and edit video and audio content using Adobe Creative Suite, including recording, editing, and synchronizing audio and video elements.
  • Create and maintain a production schedule and ensure that all production tasks are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
  • Provide support during live virtual events, including running the audio and video systems, managing live streams, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Ensure that all digital content is accessible and meets accessibility standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in IT and production, and make recommendations for new tools and systems that could improve our virtual operations.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
    • At least 2 years of experience in IT support and digital production.
    • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and systems, including hardware, software, and cloud-based storage systems.
    • Proficiency in video and audio editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition.
    • Familiarity with online registration and payment systems, and experience troubleshooting related issues.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
    • Passion for the arts and education, and a willingness to support the organization’s mission.
    • This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule, with the potential for additional hours during peak production times.
